"We were travelling with a teenage daughter and a very tall teenage son and the apartment accommodated all four of us well. It is very cleverly designed to feel spacious despite the small square meterage and we were pleasantly surprised to not feel crowded. The high ceilings were great and we appreciated having 2 bedrooms. The Apartment is clean, homey and thoughtfully well-equipped and we used the stove, microwave, oven, washing machine etc. with no problems. I LOVED having big mugs to drink from, having been restricted to thimble sized mugs in the UK! The beds were comfortable and having the sofa bed meant we could all get some personal space. The kitchen island bench meant we had 2 places to gather. The bakery and grocery shop and metro are an easy walk and there is a lively buzz in nearby streets during the evening. I really enjoyed the pianist playing in the apartment above - very soothing. I would definitely stay here again if I got the chance."

"Unfortunately, we all tested positive for COVID as soon as we got to Paris and that meant we were housebound all 3 nights. While we were devastated, as being Australian means we are unlikely to get this experience again, this apartment saved our sanity as it gave us a place that felt like home to recover in. So saying, there are a couple of things that could be improved: Another arm chair would have been great to allow all 4 of us to lounge, but I realise this would reduce the sense of space. Now, I understand that the windows have been frosted to allow privacy as it is on the ground level, but it would be good to have at least one peep-hole to watch the passers by from. I actually got out the ladder so I could see what was happening in the street :-) Finally, I have weak hands, but neither my daughter nor myself were able to turn the keys in the lock as it was too stiff. My husband managed it fine though."

"Camas pouco confortáveis. Beliche estreito e o casal preferiu dormir no sofá-cama, na sala. Somente um lavabo e o box fica no banheiro sem vaso sanitário. O proprietário não teve agilidade para nos auxiliar a ficar mais uma diária, porque o Booking engessa o sistema de reservas: havia disponibilidade, mas somente permitiam se locássemos mais duas diárias, o que não era de nosso interesse. Fomos informados que tínhamos que fazer o checkout até as 11h, mas quase ao meio-dia, quando já tínhamos saído para outra hospedagem, nos comunica que poderíamos ficar. Confuso, pouco prático."

"Great location. Brooke (host) was very responsive. There was a mishap at check in but it didn't really bother us. The apartment was perfect for the four of us. It did get a little drafty in the room facing the street, which can easily be remedied by a set of thicker drapes (just like the ones in the living room and kitchen areas). It was very cold when we were there and the heaters worked well. I was a bit apprehensive about the front door due to the reported previous break in but the new locks provided better security. Highly recommended."
